Minimum Entry Requirements for Ordinary Diploma Programmes (NTA Level 4–6) – Engineering Courses

Royal College of Technology provides opportunities for students to pursue Ordinary Diploma programmes (NTA Level 4–6) in various engineering disciplines. These programmes are designed to equip learners with relevant theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required to succeed in the engineering and technology sectors.

Once applications are open, eligible candidates are advised to apply for the programmes that match their interests, career goals, and qualifications.
Minimum Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following entry qualifications:
- Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE/Form Four)
Applicants must have a CSEE certificate with at least four (4) passes of Grade D or higher in the following subjects:
- Physics / Engineering Science
- Mathematics
- Any other two (2) subjects (excluding Religious Studies)
OR
- General Certificate Course in Engineering (GCE)
Applicants holding a recognized General Certificate Course in Engineering (GCE) qualification are eligible to apply.
OR
- Vocational Education Qualifications
Applicants with CSEE qualifications who possess:
- A minimum of Grade D in Mathematics, and
- A National Vocational Award (NVA) Level III or Trade Test Certificate Grade I in a relevant engineering field from a VETA-accredited institution,
are also eligible for admission.
